Polish Retirement Foundation Szarotka was established in 1975.
Szarotka is a real home for Polish retirees. All personnel is Polish and the house is maintained in the Polish tradition. Szarotka is located adjacent to the Polish church and parish.
Each room has a private bathroom with shower. Room price depends on its size and varies in the range $ 1250 to $ 1400 per month. The rooms are cleaned once a week. Laundry and linen service is every two weeks, and full board is included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared and served by very good Polish cooks. Rooms can be furnished upon request. Each room is turned into a "home" of a tenant, and includes family photographs and personal trinkets.
Szarotka has a cafeteria and a salon, which are used by residents on Sunday to meet with friends as well as to participate in organized Polish community events. Polish television channels and other entertainment are available in the common areas. On regular basis there are exercises for volunteers. One of our greatest assets is a beautiful garden with plenty of fruit trees.
We celebrate traditional Christmas, Easter and other Polish holidays as well as our tenants' birthdays.
The manager of Szarotka lives on the premises and is available to assist tenants as needed.
